Why Mental Health Training for Teachers Matters
Anxiety affects 4.1% of 10–14-year-olds and 5.3% of 15–19-year-olds, while depression impacts 1.3% of younger adolescents and 3.4% of older teens. These numbers reveal what students face daily: academic pressure, nonstop screens, emotional ups and downs, and the challenge of balancing friendships and relationships. Teachers see these shifts firsthand, often noticing when something isn’t right, yet many feel unsure about how to respond or initiate the right conversation.
At Brainberg, we understand that teachers play a central role in shaping not just learning but the overall environment students grow. That’s why our Psychometric Tools and Mental Health Training Program for Teachers & Faculty work together to support academic and personal development. The program equips educators with practical, easy-to-use ways to identify early signs of distress, start sensitive conversations, and create classrooms where students feel safe, supported, and understood.
Supporting Student Well-being: A NEP-Aligned Teacher Training Program
This program is designed in line with NEP 2020 and accredited by national and international education authorities, ensuring certified professional development hours and quality assurance for your school. NEP 2020 places strong emphasis on creating safe, inclusive, and emotionally nurturing learning environments, highlighting the need for mental health awareness and early identification of student distress. Our program directly supports these mandates by empowering educators with the skills, tools, and confidence to promote well-being, build supportive classrooms, and respond effectively to students’ emotional needs.

About the Program
The project is offered in two flexible formats, both covering the same core mental health and student support modules. Schools can choose the training mode that aligns with their time, budget, and teacher availability. "Format A", a 3 hour in-person workshops has a facilitator-led, on-campus training with interactive activities, discussions, and practice sessions.
While "Format B", a 25-hour digital LMS course is a self-paced online learning experience with videos, reflections, quizzes, and additional digital resources.
